TCB Recovery Updates

DCAP Dashboard supports two modes for managing TCB Info and collateral updates. This determines how the platform selects and publishes collateral snapshots for each FMSPC.

  • Standard TCB Recovery Updates

Aligned with widely adopted TCB recoveries for broad compatibility.

This is the default mode for Free and Developer plans. It ensures compatibility with widely accepted platform baselines and is recommended for most use cases to minimize fragmentation across environments while maintaining strong security assurances.

  • Configured, Versioned TCB Recovery Updates

Based on users’ security requirements and custom trust thresholds.

This is available on the Enterprise plan and allows for selection of specific TCB versions, including early or pinned releases. It is suited for environments requiring early adoption, strict version control, or platform-specific validation policies.

*Uses collateral snapshots aligned with widely adopted TCB recoveries for broad compatibility

**Supports early and versioned collateral snapshots based on users' security requirements
